"This course was very helpful in changing the way I perceive the world. I took the first year a course with Prof. Georges Sioui and he recommended this course, and I am very glad I took it because, not only has it changed my way of thinking and also the way I perceive the world but I have learned a lot about the great Andean Indigenous Peoples. I can now relate to them, understand their cry, understand why all they advocate for is peace, love, tranquility, caring, strong community bond, etc. I have also leaned that their values and beliefs also have a similarity with my own culture. I now know some of their elements they value and also their symbols, political and democratic lives, etc. I have learned a lot in this course that I will forever remember because I believe that it is very essential to life. I will love to take more Aboriginal courses."
