About the course EAS 3102: Sustainable Communities, a Vision of Andean Indigenous Peoples
"I definitely loved taking this course. I have had some of these beliefs before but it is so much better to share the experience with the whole class and to discover things I hadn’t seen in certain ways from a very insightful professor. Every class made me think of things in a new light and I have found lots of peace in knowing that there are people out there who see the beauty and mysticalness of life that it is sacred and we are all constantly discovering ourselves. Mother Earth amazes me and I have great respect and appreciation for her beauty. The crimson sunsets at night and the bright blue waters of the ocean will be images that I will never forget no matter what the World is made to turn into in the future. I will take the lessons of this course with me always and I will always appreciate being able to have this course offered here. I will write to George for sure about always having this course. Sometimes at night I would close my eyes and see blackness, other times it would seem that there is no distance and that my eyelids may not be right over my eyes but all the way across the room (since there is no judgment in space). I now realize that when I don`t just see the blackness, I see infinity stretched out before me and it has endless possibilities."
